I went to experience nature last Saturday with my family. It was unexpected and with such short notice, I was able to prep myself up and be ready for another great adventure.
First stop was at Maxima Aquafun Resort. This was my third time already, so I'm not gonna elaborate further,( if you wanna peek to what kind of adventure to look forward to, read this), but let me just say that whenever I come back to this haven, I come to experience something new and it's good because I don't get tired of coming back to this place over and over again. The second time I was here, I was with my two best friends and that was the first time I tried the canopy walk. It was dead scary but I survived nonetheless.
Yesterday, it was my first time to ride the Banana boat. It was wow! The adrenaline rush and the excitement coupled with the anxiousness from thinking that you might fall any minute was just super ecstatic. And because sitting there for the whole 15-minute ride was boring, the guy who drove the jet ski and the boat intentionally made a sudden detour, causing us to fall in the middle of the ocean. I don't know how deep was the water where we landed, all I know is that, it was effin' deep.Kuya Mark (my Auntie's niece from Bagiuo) took some photos of us, but I haven't seen it yet, so I'm going to update this once I got hold of it.
I wasn't able to take the giant slide this time because I don't know, uhmmm., yeah I don't know why, haha! As usual I didn't take the diving board because I get such shaky legs. I did snorkeling again and still, the view was just breathtaking. In fact, I think it was even more beautiful this time. I saw some different fish specie that I didn't see the last time. I saw Nemo and Dory (which is really cute with its short flippery fins) and a very colorful fish that I want bring home with me (it's got some pink and blue and violet and green all over its body).
At around 4pm, we transfered to a nearby waterfalls within the vicinity called Hagimit Falls. Who would have known, that in the middle of an island embraced with white sand beaches, a natural waterfalls exist?
I was captivated and even bedazzled when I saw this God sculpted waterfalls right in front of me. It was a view to die for and I couldn't help but be amazed with the sound of the gushing water coming from everywhere. This is just one of the many falls in this facility. I took a dip and felt my body shivered; the water was very cold but so refreshing. It was the perfect buffer after getting all the heat from Maxima. I climbed up towards where the water was falling, laid down and felt the current run through my back; it was like having a relaxing massage, only it was better. Unfortunately, we only stayed there for an hour. I left my heart at Hagimit, so i'm definitely coming back to pick it up. For me, this is paradise.
